how do you make a bezier (curved, not free-hand) line?
i know it has something to do with the pen tool and setting anchor points, and something about paths, but i have no idea how to make get the "stroke" option to work (am i even on the right track!?). how do i do thiiiis *sick of doing lineart free hand for like long smooth-lined stuff like hair and arm contours and... T____T) i have looked at literally a dozen different tutorials and each of them has not helped me beyond the anchor point bit... which is like, square one haha.
so yes, anyone know how? thanks in advance >W<;;;

2. make another anchor point (preferrably the other end of a line)
3. click on a middle point of the line and hold down control to make a curve (and etc.)
4. you can right click to select stroke path or you can go to the brush tool and press enter for it to stroke
5. then you can go back to the pen tool and press enter for the path to disappear
6. And you can stroke different paths at the same time btw to easen the pain...
1. Go to your brush tool, and choose what thickness you want the stroke/line. (i.e. 1 pixel - 3 pixels)
2. Go to the pen tool (just the regular pen tool)
3. Click to make a point for the beginning of the line
4. Click to make a point for the end of the line. (this should make a "path")
5. Click somewhere in the center of the path and it will make an anchor point with two little lines sticking out. Ignore those. If you don't click on the path you'll end up making a shape, so it's important to click ON the path.
6. HOLD THE CONTROL KEY WHILE CLICKING ON THE CENTER ANCHOR POINT, and move it around to make your curve.
7. Once you've made the path, right click THE PATH and select "Stroke Path." Then choose your brush tool from the drop down menu and it will draw the line for you.
8. When you've drawn the line, right click the path again and click "Delete Path."
There, you have a curved line.
If you want it to be shaped like an "S," Just make two center anchor points, and use the control key to move one to the left (or right) and one the opposite way.
I hope that helped
